Happy Blogiversary to Me!

Today marks the third anniversary of God is in the Compost Pile. I chose April 3 to begin devotional blogging because it is also the date that I became a born-again Christian way back in 1985.

The blog’s name came from a real compost pile in a field near a convent. While hiking on a footpath near that field, I noticed the nuns gardening and recycling their garden waste. It reminded me that God is in everything, even the smallest, seemingly insignificant details of our lives.

It wasn’t far from that spot that I met the Lord on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. I had been an agnostic until that day when my life changed forever. You can read more about it in my first ever blog post.

I hope that you are enjoying what I post here and that my thoughts and words have blessed you.

Thank you for visiting and supporting this blogging adventure, and God bless you all.

I would love to know how you came to know the Lord. Please share in Comments.
